Welcome to the webpage of the Portuguese Society for Developmental Biology (SPBD)
The SPBD aims to represent and strengthen the interactions among Portuguese developmental biologists. The SPBD also welcomes researchers from related fields with the aim of pursuing research and educational activities of mutual interest.
SPBD main activities are to organise the conference series Development in Action (DIA), designed to promote scientific interaction within the national developmental biology community, to promote and organize national and international meetings and workshops, as well as to represent the Portuguese developmental biology community in international settings.
